So sorry I could not be there for any of the services. I had similar commitments for those times. I will remember Justin at mass. Our times at .CYC together with all the Comito kids will be happier. Be assured you will not be forgotten.

I first met Justin 6 or 8 years ago when he was in Taekwondo at the Y. He was one of my favorites. I was his judge at one of his blue belt tests and he did such a good job! Then we were in IDT together and we had so much fun in that class as he was getting to be a teenager. I missed him in marital arts, but I still ran into him a lot as one of the morning workout regulars at the Y. He had grown into such a nice handsome young man, and he always had a smile and hello for me. My heart is broken for you, Comito family. I'm so sorry for this loss, Justin was a wonderful young man.

I am a fellow EMT student currently at Dmacc. I was not in Justin's class, but heard about his passing. I wanted to write a condolence, as I am thinking of and praying for his family and friends. 3 weeks ago I lost someone very close to me. A firefighter at 27 years old, currently pursuing his paramedic, as he got hit by an SUV while out for a run. When there is so much of a future going for someone, it's hard to understand. I pray for your trusting in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding, but know he has a purpose and plan for everything. I pray that you'll lean on the Lord and take your sadness to him. That is what has really gotten me through. Reminisce on the good times with him, and know that there are many people praying for his family and those who were close to him.

It is so difficult to understand why, we just need to trust God that Justin is finally at peace.
My heart goes out to the whole family. My prayers are with Justin finding peace and with you finding peace in your tragic loss.

Dear Comito Family,
Perhaps you will remember us from St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. We are deaf and are part of the Deaf group that attends Mass at St. Catherine's. Deafness can be likened to the idea of living in a bubble. We see and cross paths with people every week and know many faces, though often times we might not even know names, but are touched by warm smiles and nods and recognize those familiar faces that we often see. We would like you to know that all of us deaf members of St. Catherine's care very much and are deeply saddened by the great loss you have faced. We want you to know of our care and concern and we offer you our deep, deep sympathy. Brendan and Christine, we have seen what great parents you have been to your children. Our hearts hurt so very much for you. We pray deeply for all of you at this time of great loss. May the peace of God that is beyond all understanding keep your hearts and minds in Christ and may He comfort you through these painful days.

I had the pleasure of getting to meet Justin a handful of times before EMT class. At class we sat next to each other and would talk about anything and everything. He really was a true salt of the earth person. I will miss his quick wit, incredible sense of humor and cool, calm demeanor in class. I always knew it would be a good class with him sitting next to me.
I cannot put into words how I hurt for you, Comito family. I will hold you all in my thoughts and prayers.
