Denise Hudson, age 64, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at her home.
Denise was born on March 20, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy, where she was a member of the Stepperettes and especially enjoyed going to Nationals. She went on to attend Drake University, where she received her BA, and her Master’s in Elementary Education.

She enjoyed reading, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family. She was a doting grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, who adored their Grandma Nee Nee. Denise was a loving and giving soul. I worked with her for a couple years, but she will best be remembered for caring for my mom during her time with alzheimers. Mom loved Denise dearly as did I. She truly was a wonderful caregiver. She will be missed dearly.

Laura and family:
I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. I remember her well, always supporting and cheering you on in all you did, especially music at Hoover. Treasure the time and memories and know many are with you in spirit.
