Montez Julius Davis

Montez Julius Davis was born an angel on September 7, 2017 at 3:49 a.m. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Our RockStar. The moment he came on this earth he stole the spotlight. From the tip of his head to the bottoms of his feet was perfect. And proof that God only makes beautiful children. Although our time with him was short we will always have him in our hearts.

Montez is survived by his mommy, Destinee Minchow; daddy, Bernard Davis; grandparents, Shari and Don Withers, Jeff Minchow and Michelle Mullen, Tina and Harvey Stallworth; great-grandparents, Donald Withers and Cindy Strennen; great great-grandmother, Arlene Strennen; aunts and uncles, Tramesha, Kierra, Luke, Joel, Kyra, Jalen, Drew, and Marlissa; and his cousins, Trinity and Ember. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Mildred Zimmer, Shirley and Nelson Minchow, Carol Withers; Doras and James Wade; and his great uncle, Paul Strennen.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Creekside Church, 2743 82nd Place in Urbandale.
