Timothy George Watland was born August 30, 1952, in Des Moines, Iowa, to George and Charlene (Knight) Watland. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Timothy had a great sense of humor. He was very goofy and his huge laugh could fill a room. Timothy was always someone you could count on. He lived life to its fullest and made every day the best. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed drawing.
Timothy passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the age of 65.
He leaves behind his daughter, Brianna Watland; granddaughter, Delilah; siblings, Michael (Mary) Watland, Patrick (Debra) Watland, Bridget (Victor) Wilson, and Jim Watland; and many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no services at this time. Any memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

My dad was amazing and i miss him everyday. He was my rock and i wish for him to be here. I and my kids miss him so much.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Tim. He will be truly missed, but when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven to watch over us. Please take comfort in knowing that you have a angel watching over you now. Our prayers & thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
