Christopher Tyler Lenhart, age 26, was tragically taken from this life much too soon on Sunday, August 27, 2017. He was born on December 11, 1990, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Those left to cherish his memory include his girlfriend, Kaylee Schroeder; son, Quentin Lenhart; mother, Aretta Miles; father, Jeff Lenhart, Sr.; siblings, Cristina Lenhart, Jennifer Brock, Jeffrey Lenhart, Jr., Crystal Lenhart, Nicholas Lenhart, and Zachary Lenhart; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great-grandparents, other loving relatives and many special friends.
Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 held at ELIM Christian Fellowship Church, 525 E. 9th Street, Des Moines, with visitation one hour prior.
Memorials may be directed to the family in loving memory of Christopher.

This message is to my family,
I love all of you so very much I can hardly bare the pain I feel from loosing Ty. He brought us all so much joy he was truly a blessing from God. Eventhough he was taken to soon his spirit will live forever. I'm so thankful to have had the privilege of being his Mom and his friend. There will never be a replacement,a duplicate or a substitute for my son Christopher Tyler Lenhart. I know he's with all the other angels in heaven. That gives me peace. I will always love you Ty!!

I'm so sorry about ty it was a sudden tragidy. It tore my family and I up since we were pretty much raised together. Nightly scary movies and pizza crazy arguments, and 3am ball in the steet. I'm at lose for words when it comes to how sorry I really am about Tyler and the heart ach y'all are going threw. Much love and respect.

I had only met Ty a few times. So few, that only now, I know he was Christopher Tyler Lenhart. He was a father, a son, a boyfriend and a brother. He was a good person too, I knew that the first time I met him. Many people are saddened by his loss, his family and close friends, but people he barely knew too. Much love and respect for Ty and his family.
