James Allen Edwards

James Allen Edwards, 65, was born on February 17, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Abraham and Arlene (Chandler) Edwards. He passed away on August 27, 2017.

James worked for 34 years as a corporate examiner for the State of Iowa retiring in 2010. He enjoyed putting together models of ships and dollhouses. He loved going camping and RV’ing but most of all, he treasured his time with family.

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Scott Harnan) Edwards and Kristina (Kyle) Snyder; grandsons, Michael Banks and Camden Snyder; and many loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathy; sister, Linda; and his parents.

A private family service will be held and he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Kathy at Altoona Cemetery.
