Taylor Wayne Horn

Taylor Wayne Horn was born December 23, 1997 in Des Moines. He passed away August 12, 2017 at the age of 19.

Taylor was a hardworker and was most recently employed by QuikTrip. He had a great smile and a goofy sense of humor. Taylor loved cars, especially Mustangs. He was an avid Hawkeye fan.

Taylor is survived by his parents, Eric and Amy Horn; three brothers, Benjamin, Zachary and Izaiah Horn; grandparents, Terry and Jane Horn and Kelly VanDeBoe-Mook; aunt, Viki (Rich) Oxford and cousin, Brock Oxford; uncle, Chad Elsinga; and a host of extended family and friends.

Taylor was preceded in death by his mother, Amber Brown.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
