Dena Marie Taylor, age 45, passed away at Taylor House on Friday, August 11, 2017.
She was born April 1, 1972, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Peggy (Knight) Fausett.
Dena is survived by her husband, Jack Taylor; children, Destini Knight and Dylan Taylor (Bonnie); grandchildren, Daziyre, Dakaree and Stella; her brother, Paul Fausett (Wendy); and her sister, Bobbi Jo Fausett (Shawn).
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Fausett; mother, Peggy Fausett; and her brother, Al Fausett.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

I'll never forget our sleepovers as tweens dancing to the "Grease 2" soundtrack. No one rocked out the song "Cool Rider" like you babe! You'll be missed. Thank you for being a friend to me growing up. RIP honey!

Just because we Didnt talk anymore doesn't mean that id forgotten about you or that i Didnt still care
Truth is i did and AlwaYS will...I did my best to check up on u to see how you were. If you were okay,but every time i got the urge to come talk to you it would hit me ..were strangers now you didnt want me in your life so many things have changed and im no longer part of you. I wouldve given anything to have u back as my friend. Now its time to say goodbye and i havent even had a chance to say hello...my heart broke a lil each day not having u around and now forever broken. .. there are so many things i have to tell u still i always thought u would one day stop being so stubborn and call on me and id come running and things would be as they once were . ive already missed you for so long now and now ill go on forever missing u until we meet again. i love u with all my heart .PIMPTRESs D..i always have and i always will.. RIP sweet girl....i have had the pleasure of knowing you since you were very young, we worked together, we laughed together and we cried together....i have always loved you dearly as I did your momma and now you are home with her, Al and Dad so fly high sweetheart!!!!
