Service Details
Eva May Bowen, 86, died Friday, February 1, 2008 at Trinity Center at Luther Park. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 4 at Glendale Cemetery.
Eva was born October 15, 1921 to Otis and Dora Dennis in Mitchellville, Iowa. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Navy. Eva was a member of Visitation Catholic Church.
Eva is survived by her sons, Aaron and Wendell Bowen; daughter, Noel Bowen; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hamilton’s Funeral Home.

This was my mother in law..Sue was such a strong unqiue woman. She adopted 3 mixed race children in1960s.I admired her. We we're not told she had passed. It broke all of our hearts.

Dear grand ma I love u I'm sorry no one new what was going on and no one told us u passed I wish i would have seen u one last time but I'm glad u reached out to me and showed me u passed so u could tell my tt i love u and i no ur allways with me and I thank u for bringing us togeather

Dear Aaron,
You've done the important work for yourself, Aaron. Hard, I am certain, but clearly thoroughly and well. She was a fortunate parent, a legacy of which she had to have been proud. I will miss Eva's smile and her way of saying "so-so"
