Marilyn Rose Shepherd, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She was born the daughter of William and Ruth Matheson on August 13, 1937 in Numa, Iowa.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 61 years, Raymond; children, Nancy Shepherd and Laura Hadley; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gwen (Lonnie) Overton and John Matheson.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.

In honor of Marilyn’s wishes no services will be held.
