Virginia L. Spagnolo

Virginia Spagnolo, 79, died February 1, after a long illness. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 4th at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. She is survived by children Dennis, Carla, Martin, and Tina, all of Des Moines; sister Barbara and husband Robert Folsom, sister Madonna Swartz, brother Carl Bordenaro, Jr., all of Des Moines; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Kelley of Shawnee, Ks.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, and sister Pat Robey. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Southtown Funeral Home with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m.
