Phyllis Cran, 65, passed away August 3, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born November 3, 1951, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Donald and Deloris Cran.
Phyllis recently retired from the State of Iowa Vital Records Department after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed reading, photography, cross stitching, and genealogy.
Phyllis is survived by her mother, Deloris; sisters, Peggy (Gary) Gibbs and Penny Pliler; brother, Bruce (Susan) Cran; nephews, Chris (Katy) Cran and their daughter Caroline, Mario (Marcy) Mora and their sons Luke and Andrew; as well as her niece, Melissa Cran.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Phyllis.
