Winifred "Wini" Six

Winifred Audrey Six was born to Herbert and Marguerite Sisson on October 14, 1919. Wini married and later divorced Marvin Smith. She later married Vern Six. Vern and Wini were co-founders of Champion Crane Service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Six; her son, Sidney J. Six and step-son, Tim Six. She is survived by her son, Dwayne Sisson Smith (Donna); daughter in-law, Helen Six and step-daughter, Norma Heglin; 14 grandchildren; 43 great- grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.

Wini lived most of her life in the Des Moines area. She lived the last few years at the Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville, Iowa where she passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017. Memorials may be directed to the Mitchell Village Care Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
