Lloyd Gene Ambrosier

Gene Ambrosier, 64, died, Thursday, January 31, 2008, at University Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Des Moines. Gene was born on July 17, 1943 in Wakeeney, Kansas. Gene was a loving father with a fun-loving personality and witty sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Gene is survived by his children, Doris Montgomery of Hico, TX, Mike Ambrosier of Ellisville, MS, Kate Ambrosier of Urbandale, IA and Kim Ambrosier of Ankeny, IA; sisters, Helen Coon of Ponca City, OK and Pauline Cole of Bull Head City, AZ; brothers, Elden Ambrosier of Norton, KS, Dennis Ambrosier of Bird City, KS, Darrell Ambrosier of Almena, KS and Gerald Ambrosier of Hill City, KS and seven grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by parents, Alva and Doris Ambrosier and brother, Robert Allen Ambrosier.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Family will visit with friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
