Charlotte Brady

Charlotte Evelyn Luick Brady, age 99, of Des Moines, IA died July 16, 2017, at Taylor House Hospice, just two months short of her 100th birthday.

Survivors include her son, Michael Brady and wife Jo Ann; granddaughter, Bonnie Jo Johnson of Massachusetts; niece, Karla Hougham; and sister-in-law, Barb Luick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Brady and parents, George J. and Charlotte E. Luick; brothers, George Jr. and Harold.

Charlotte, currently the oldest John Deere Des Moines Works Retiree, was employed as a telephone operator at the Des Moines Ordnance Plant and was subsequently hired by the John Deere Des Moines Works in March of 1963. She held responsible positions in the Office Services Department throughout her career until her retirement on April 30, 1982.
