Stephanie was in radiation treatment at the same time as I was in January (mine was breast cancer, now in remission). We were the only two under 50. Though can't say I knew her well in the brief time we chatted between treatments, she was a great inspiration to me.

It breaks our heart to hear of your loss. We will never forgot Steph's contagious smile and the many laughs we shared with your family while sitting on the beach all soaking up the sun at FMB. I only met Stephanie once at the Purple Stride event last year, and we've been Facebook friends since. We were both sitting in the front row as Survivors and experiencing the same emotions of going through this horrible disease. I could tell that Stephanie was a very optimistic and loving person and her positive attitude and beautiful smile really made an impact on me. I am very saddened by the news of her passing and my wish is that Stephanie is at peace now and pain free. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

Dear Paul and family, we are so very sorry your precious Stephie succumbed to that awful disease. F pancreatic cancer. We cherish the memories of her snuggling up to the fire pit tending to her beautiful flowers, Paul manning the grill, and all the kids and their friends playing yard games, while the Hawkeyes flag flew in the trees. Stephanie was a lovely, fun person. Paul, may her strength and courage help you in the coming days.
