Sandra J. Hilliard

Sandra J. Hilliard passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, surrounded by her precious loved ones. From her birth on June 30, 1937 to the day she left this earth, she was an attentive, warmhearted and resilient woman. Through the trials and tribulations God had given her, she never lost sight of those important to her.

Sandra raised five children with her husband Charlie in Des Moines. Throughout her time as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she truly showed how much she cared for each and every member of her family.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charlie and her five children and their families: Chuck (Sue) Hilliard, Patti Braman, Cindy (Mike) Maneely, Kim Yacinich, and Diane (Marty) Miklus, as well as eleven grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Sandra will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
