Service Details
Ethel Tjernagel, 93, passed away July 11, 2017, at Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville, Iowa. She was born June 19, 1924, in Des Moines, to George and Elda Mills.
Ethel is survived by her sons, Merle (Linda) Brockman of Venice, FL, and Terry Brockman of Des Moines; grandchildren, Kerry, Jenny, Joshua, Troy, David, and Jodie; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Fitzgerald of Des Moines; brother, Arthur Mills of Park Rapids, MN; as well as other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Brockman.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

We are so sorry to hear of our cousin, Ethel's passing. We just found out today & regret that we couldn't attend her service. Her mother, Elda and our mother Dorothy DeMoss Murphy were sisters. Elda was the oldest child & our 99 years old mother is the youngest. Much love to your family.
