Diane Beattie

Diane Faye Beattie was released from her battle with cancer Tuesday evening at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Diane was born to Berniece and Harley Hallett on April 22, 1947. She graduated from Tech High in 1965 and lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. Diane worked for Frenchway Cleaners a number of years where her friendly smile and attention to detail were appreciated by her loyal customers. Diane stopped working to concentrate on being a homemaker and care for her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and greatly enjoyed her activities with the Circle of Friends lady’s group.
Diane is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Beattie; oldest daughter, Rande Brown and grandchildren, Seth and Emily; her youngest daughter, Diane (Tim) Konrad and grandchildren, Alexis and Darian.
Being a devoted mother and wife, Diane will never stop watching over her family, she simply has a better view.
