Ruth Porter

Ruth M. Porter, 82, died January 29, 2008 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
She was born December 7, 1925 in Mingo, Iowa.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, February 1, 2008 at Mitchellville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home Thursday 6:00-8:00pm.
Ruth retired as a dietician from the Iowa Women’s Correctional Institution in 1990. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Ruth is survived by her loving children; Joe Albert Porter, Jeanne Lane, and Jeri Foster.
She leaves three grandchildren ,eight great grandchildren and two sisters; Lavaughn Stolba and Tena Gaskill. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Dale.
