Janice Radke

Janice A. Radke, 78, of Des Moines went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2006 at Hospice Kavanagh on 56th. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday ay Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Elm Grove Cemetery. More than anything Janice enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She also loved garage sales and was a member of the Highland Park Christian Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #109.
She is survived by her children Bob (Deana) Connelly, Bill (Nancy) Connelly, Becky (Randy) Swisher and Brett (Lori) Connelly all of Des Moines, her step-daughter Lynda (Doug) Christensen of Des Moines, her step-son Randy (Jackie) Radke of Des Moines, her sister Carol (Bill) Clough of Des Moines, her 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Royal “Cap” Radke, her parents Reuben and Gertrude Anderson, her sisters Virginia Anderson, Pat Dew and Joy Beeson and her brother Robert Anderson.
The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh on 56th.
