Richard Reed

Richard Reed, Sr., 78, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2006 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends starting at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Richard served in the Marines for 14 years. He worked for Van Ginkel Lanes for 24 years. He loved bowling and was very proud he rolled a 299. He also loved fishing and was an avid C.B’er.
Richard is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Sheila Wyckoff; son, Clarence Reed; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Krebs and his son, Richard Reed, Jr.
