Martha Pelkey

Martha Pelkey, 102, was born April 17, 1905 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Anna and Edward Lowe. She passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Adel Acres Care Center. Martha was a member of Eastwood Open Bible Church.
Martha is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Wilkinson and Al Pelkey.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Adel Acres Care Center in loving memory of Martha.
