Robert Grout

Robert J. Grout, 75, died of cancer, Monday, January 21, 2008 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines. Robert was born December 23, 1932 in Des Moines. He retired from Cobbs Manufacturing. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Toni (Bill) Johnston; son, Patrick Grout; daughter, Terry (Jack) Zelcer; daughter, Christy (Scott) Brommel; daughter, Bee Jay Grout; sister, Margaret (Gene) Hawkins and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Iva Grout.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
