Marie Charlene Boley Crees

Charlene passed away at Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines on Monday, January 21, 2008.
Charlene is survived by her husband, Ray Crees, 2 adopted grandchildren she was raising, her daughter/granddaughter, Carissa Boley (Grammie’s Angel), her son/grandson, Brendan Boley (Grammie’s Sunshine), she loved them with all her heart. A son, Timothy (Jackie) Corey of Texas, a son, Christopher Bear of Kansas. 9 step-children, LaRae (Tim) Bryant, Jessica (Mark) Cochrane, Jeff (Donna) Lewis, Roxanne (Tim) Lewis, Raymond Crees, Rodney Crees, Dawn (Mike) Crees, Ronald (Angie) Crees and Roy (Julie) Crees, all of Des Moines. Sisters, Gloria (Billy) Palmer, Roberta (Bob) Van Dyke and Linda (Glen) Williams, all of Des Moines. Brothers, Les (Barb) Miller of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Elmer (Gwen) Miller of Marshalltown, Iowa and John Miller of Idaho. 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, 20 Step Grandchildren, 7 Step-Great-Grandchildren. She was also Aunt Charlene to many nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and we will miss her, but she will always be in our hearts.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eleanor Corey, a brother, Richard Miller and a sister Delores Snider.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens.
