Mary Mihalovich

Mary E. Mihalovich, 91, born in Foster, Iowa grew up in Melcher Iowa and graduated from Melcher High School. Mary lived in Des Moines for most of her life and enjoyed her later years at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Anthony “Tony” Mihalovich. Mary is survived by
children, Ramona (Alan) Hessenius, of Urbandale, IA and Daniel (Barbara) Mihalovich of Tucson, Arizona. She also leaves behind a sister Dorthy Juraco of Portage, Michigan and four grandchildren, Paula Myhre, Laura Malloy, Jennifer Hipple, Melissa Mihalovich, and four great grandchildren; Joseph Myhre, William Myhre, Emily Hipple, and Samuel Hipple.
Mary’s service will be Wednesday, January 23, 1pm at the Bishop Drumm Care Center Chapel, 5837 Winwood in Johnston, IA with visitation Tuesday, Jan 22, 6 to 8 pm at the Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon, Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Bishop Drumm in honor of Mary.
