Stan, Galen, George and families,
Dale and I started out tonight to the visitation, but the weather prevented us from attending. We turned around. We hope you understand.
What wonderful neighbors your parents were to us and we are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember the good times we had together and our treasured memories of your mom. You boys have always held a special place in our hearts as well.
With friendship and sympathy,
Donna & Dale

To Doris' Family,
I will truely miss Doris and Merril. When we moved into the house next door on SW 6th, they welcomed us with open arms. They treated us like we were family and they were like family to us. They came to all of Alex and Megan's birthday parties while we lived next door. They were always there if we needed help, from something as small as borrowing an egg to watching Alex when we were in a pinch.
There was one time when Alex was just a baby. Jim was gone for the evening and it was just Alex and I home alone. Alex was asleep and I was watching a scary movie when I heard a noise in the basement. I got scared and grabbed Alex and ran over to Doris and Merrils. We stayed there until Jim came home. What it turned out to be was so silly. I had the dryer running in the basement and the phone had rattled off of it and fell to the floor. They were great and didn't tease me too much for that one.
We will miss them and we will never forget them...
