Donna Romans

Donna M. Romans, 67, of Des Moines, entered into eternal rest January 16, 2008 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer and heart disease. Her body has been cremated and a private burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Donna was born January 14, 1941 in Laredo, MO to Sam and Josephine Coffman.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her only son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Linda L. Romans; and her brother, Wesley Coffman. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clifford J. Romans; two daughters, Peggy (Charles) Smith of Mercer, MO and Patti (Steven) Earp of Des Moines; five grandsons, Charles and James Smith, Steven and Nicholas Earp, all of Des Moines and James (Lacie) Romans, Jr. of Runnells; and five great-grandchildren, Brittany, Patience and Damien Smith and Colby and Jacob Romans.

Mom, you were not only a great mother but a my best best friend and my nurse when I needed you. I will truly miss talking to you when I need someone to talk to. You always listened to the good and the bad. Thanks for everything. Love, Your #1 daughter.

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom, Wife and grandma.
