Johannah Lamb

Johannah Lamb, 92, passed away at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. She was born July 2, 1925 in Mason City, Iowa to Christina and John Berry.

She was married to Gerald (JET) Lamb and they had 3 sons, Gary, Gerald and John. In 1955, they moved to Des Moines and she lived there until her death.
Johannah was a member of Union Park Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and made many things. Johannah always looked forward to Tuesday, for that was the day she went to church for her sewing group, which she loved.

Johannah is survived by her two sons, John and Gerald, as well as a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, youngest son, granddaughter and 5 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15, at Elmwood Cemetery in Mason City.
