Paul Harrison Boots

Paul Harrison Boots, 77, passed away July 1, 2017. Services will be held Monday, July 10, 2017 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the service at 12 noon.

Paul was born February 11, 1940 to Lucille and Joseph Boots. He joined the US Navy and served for 22 years. Following retirement from the Navy, Paul worked at Camp Dodge for 27 years as a Supply Logistics Manager. In his free time, Paul enjoyed square dancing, country dancing, bowling, camping and fishing, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne Boots; children, Karen (Marty) DeBoer, Robert Boots, and Lisa (Stephen Fuller) Harper; grandchildren, Vicki Boots, Christine Cassill, Sydney (Steven Morris) DeBoer, Dustin (Mandi) Boots, Brandy Wasson, Ashley (Clayton) Miller, and Aiden DeBoer; great-grandchildren, Azelia, Carter, Coby, McKayla, and Madison; and his sister, Barbara (Kenny) McClain. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Robert, Shirley, Ruth, Betty, and Donald.
