Gene Pollock

Gene Llewellyn Pollock, 66, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Gene was born on April 14, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa. One of Gene’s many joys in life was trucking, which he did for 47 years.
Gene is survived by his previous wives, Judy Pollock and Karen Carey; brother, Elmer (Cherie) Pollock; children, Laura (Alan) Weisert, Maren (Rick) Gilbert, Carla (Scott) Trentz, Cheryl (Bryan) Keeling, Nancy (Mike) Gallagher, Judy (Jeff) Keeling, and Larry (Darla) Pollock, 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and his long-time companion, Delores Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marie Pollock.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
