Delbert King, Jr., age 58, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Delbert was born June 2, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Delbert Sr. and Juanita King. Family meant everything to Delbert and he loved his children, grandson, and his dog. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Delbert loved riding his Harley Davidson, playing darts, computer games, and eating good food.
Delbert is survived by his children, Delbert King III and Rachael King; grandson, Ayden King; sisters, Cindy King and Toni Prombo; brother, Danny King; and many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Juanita King.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Delbert you were such a awsome person...with a heart of gold...Im going to miss you dearly...We had alot of good times...and Ill cherish memories of you forever..Things wont be the same with out you.
God took you way to soon..Ill always have a place in my heart for you my friend...I WISH you were still here!
I'll see you again one day when I get to heaven...until then know you'll always be in my heart...and Ill think of you often...You were one of the best men Ive ever knowen and I was blessed to of had you as a friend...

I'm going to miss you but not as much as my mom will.... You have been a good man and a fabulous friend to many and I thank you for always being there for barb. This world just won't be the same without you here. So please always live in our hearts and if you can help me help my mom thru this I could sure use it RIP UNCLE DELBERT
