Rose Turnquist

Rose M. Turnquist, 84 died peacefully Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines with visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rose was born December 2, 1923 in Des Moines. She worked many jobs, but loved her time as a sales consultant for Avon. She was a member of Navy Mothers.
Rose is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her children: Edward (Maggie) Pepper, Linda (Ron) Wilson, Sheryl (Tim) Stanford, Marla Wells, Pam (Don ) Bishop, and Evelyn Oliver (Ron Harrison); her 10 grandchildren; her great grandson Austin, and one great grandchild on the way.
