Thomas Dean Felice, 85, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
Thomas was born May 20, 1932 in Des Moines to Anthony and Sue (Chicchelly) Felice. He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. Thomas was the plant manager for Delevan & Parr Manufacturing before starting his own home building business, Thomas Felice Construction. He retired in 1996. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Norma Jean Felice; daughters, Denise (Manny) Guerra, Dea (Mike) Waters, Deborah (Jim) Rowley, Diana Felice and Dana (Jim) Sharp; brothers, Anthony and Johnny Felice; sisters, Norma Jean Greenlee and Sister Suzanne Felice; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Louise Mattiussi and Therese LePorte.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road. Thomas will be laid to rest with military honors at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
