Helen Francis Briar Cameron Findling passed away peacefully June 25, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born June 27, 1937, to Jack and Josephine Briar and was just shy of her 80th birthday.
Helen is survived by her children, Mike (Linda) Cameron, JoEllen Woods, Carla (Jeff) Silzer, Jamie Cameron, and Mark (Lisa) Findling; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Barb) Briar and Jim (Marissa) Briar; sister, Josephine Hunt and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Seth Robar; sister, Nancy Briar; brother-in-law, Milt; and sister-in-law, Sue.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Suncrest Hospice or the Ronald McDonald House in loving memory of Helen.
