Willis Walker

Willis “Willie” Walker, 74, died January 14, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lee Town Assembly Church with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Willis was born January 25, 1933. He retired from Mercy Hospital housekeeping department after over 30 years of service. Willis enjoyed showing antique cars, fishing, and spending time at the Eastside Senior Citizen Center. He was an active member of Lee Town Assembly Church.
Willis is survived by his children, Russ (Roxann) Walker, Bobby (Tina) Walker, Missy (Don) Huffman, Sherry Walker and Maryann Davis; stepchildren, Rita Hannatan, Randy (Tina) Owen and Don (Donna) Owen; sister, Betty (Butch) Christianson; brother, Harry (Melody) Walker; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
