Julee Anne Welsh, 71, passed away June 23, 2017 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
Julee was born January 16, 1946 to Mary (Telfer) and Marvin Long. She worked as a hair stylist for most of her career. She enjoyed time with her friends and dog, Crissy.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Mary; and nephew, Erin Welsh.
Julee is survived by her son, Dennis (Dawn) McKim of Portland, OR and their children, Megan, Kaitlyn, Logan, Gillian and Lauren; son, Nick McKim of Waverly, NE and his children, Bailey and Hunter; daughter, Angela McKim of Lincoln, NE and her children, Jessica, Harley and Anthony; 6 great-grandchildren; her brother, Philip (Jean) Welsh of Des Moines, IA; nephews: David, John and Chris; and niece, Julee.

So sorry for your loss. Julee was a sweetheart I got along with her well. Still have the dog Rosie that she gave us 11 years ago. Keeping everyone in my prayers

I am so very sorry to hear this, Julee was a close friend of my mother-in-law and we subsequently became friends when Julee moved back to Nevada. She was a character and always was able to make us laugh. It was always fascinating to listen to Julee and Barb tell stories of the "old days". She will be missed
