Jane Eaton

Jane Ann (Gulick) Eaton passed away at her home on June 20, 2017, at the age of 68. She was born and raised in Des Moines and lived there all her life until she married her husband Marlin “Joe” Eaton and moved to Johnston, IA.

Jane was a graduate of North High School and Grandview University. She enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry.

Jane was a woman of strong faith and was a devoted member of Johnston Evangelical Free Church. She was a loving, caring person whose heart and front door were always open to any person who knew her. Jane will be remembered for her smile and laugh that brought joy to those around her.

Jane is survived by her husband, Joe; sisters, Paula Sellman, Patricia Berg, and Mary Howard; brothers, John Gulick and Ray Gulick; as well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pauline Gulick, and her son, Ryan Eaton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
