Sherry Mae Munoz

Sherry Mae Munoz, age 49, passed away peacefully Monday, June 19, 2017, at Taylor House Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1968, in Rosebud, South Dakota. She was a member of the Sicangu Lakota Oyate and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Juan; children, Sharalyn, Garrison, Pedro, Juan and Francisco; grandchildren, Keanu, Cristina and Diesel; brother, Harley Little Bald Eagle; nieces, Cody Eagle Feather and Selena Cruz; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Te Amo, sons, Hunter and Leroy Jr., and grandson, T. Jiovannie.

Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2101 Evergreen, Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2017, followed immediately by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Sherry will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines.
