Service Details
Jake Cole, 28, passed away at home on January 14, 2008. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Private burial will be later.
Visitation will be 5-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Jacob is survived by his wife, Anna; daughter, Ava; parents, Bryan & Vicky Cole; brothers, Matt (Lyndsey) Cole, Scott (Sue) Cole; mother-in-law, Cheryl Rousseau; brother-in-law, Ricky Rousseau; grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and dog, Swayze Boy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made for his daughter, Ava Cole.

Dear Anna,
It has been so many years since I've seen or talked with you that I hesitated to write. But I wanted to let you know how very sorry I am to hear of Jake's passing. I can't even imagine your grief over losing such a very special person. Please know that I am praying for you, little Ava and the rest of the family.
If I can be of any help at all, or if you just need an "old friend" to talk to, I hope you won't hesitate to contact me.
You and Jake will continue to be in my thoughts.

Anna when I heard about your loss I just cried! I am so sorry. If there is anything that I can do to help just name it. I wish I could just give you a great big hug and tell you that everything is going to be all right. He is with God and he must have needed him for something up in heaven. You are probably asking alot of questions like why you, I am asking those too. I am here for you. Take care and God bless!

My deepest sympathies go out to both the Cole and Rousseau families. Jake was one of the most talented people ive came across in my 28yrs on this earth , with one of the most genuine personalities to go along with those talents from Basketball to Skateboarding. The family and friends in his life suffered a huge loss , but hopefully can find peace and savior the memories they have had with Jake.

To Anna and Ava, Bryan, Vicky, Matt and Scott,
I have been looking at this page for a couple of days and still can not find the right words to express myself other then you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jake was such a great guy and the best of friend. He made friends with just about anyone he met. We will all miss a friend and person like him. My deepest sympathy and I will celebrate his life always.
