Clyde R. Warden

Clyde Warden, 65, of Redfield, IA passed away on June 10, 2017, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. He was born February 13, 1952, to Theodore and Ruby Warden in Polk County, IA.
Clyde retired from John Deere. He enjoyed camping and fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his 3 grandchildren Austin Warden, Ashley and Connor Swain.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Lynnette Warden, Katie (Jeremy) Swain, and John (Carrie) Warden; sister, Lila (Bill) Capehart; and his brothers, Allen Warden and Loyd (Rene) Warden, as well as a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Corrine and Janet; and one niece.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Clyde’s home in Redfield, 32098 G Trail. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50313.
Memorial contributions will be received by the family and later designated to Taylor House Hospice in loving memory of Clyde.

I went to Saydel High school with Clyde. My thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends. Never forget his smile from ear to ear always. He will be missed by many! RIP

To Joan & family We are so sorry to hear about your loss, we enjoyed spending time with you all at Carrie & John's house on Thankgiving & playing games that your grandaughter taught us how to play even though she made up her own rules when no one knew how to play (ha ha) RIP Clyde love you all,

From all the New Year's Eves spent together, dinners at Cheddar's and Lynn & I's trip to Nashville with him & Joan, life will NEVER be the same. Thank you to God for all the times I got to spend with him and his family. Joan, Lynn, Katie and John, I love you guys. RIP Clyde, you will be dearly missed.
