Paul Michael

Paul Eugene Michael of Des Moines died Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House of cancer.
Paul was born in Stark, Kansas December 6, 1926, son of Robert and Martha Michael. He married Bonnie Mae Gibson on July 7, 1948. Together they lovingly raised four wonderful children: Sharon (Bob) Ramsey, David (Kelly), Wayne (Tammy), and Dennis Michael; eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. He was also loved by his sisters Lois, Lola, and Leona. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Dennis, and his brother Denzil.
Paul will be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness and wit. He retired from Maytag after 39 years of service.
Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
