Nancy Williams

Nancy B. Williams, 71, of Urbandale, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Karen Acres Health Care Center. She was born on April 21, 1946 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Edwin and Betty (Sharp) Bittner.

Nancy lived in Texas for many years before returning to Iowa in 2017. She worked as a mechanic at the Dallas Times Herald. Nancy was an animal lover, especially cats. She enjoyed going to auctions.

Nancy is survived by her siblings, Betty (Robert) Crane, Russell (Jolene) Bittner and Kathy Taylor; special friends, Mike and Lori Ricksieck; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger W. Williams, Jr.; her parents; her brother, Edwin Bittner; and nephew, James Bittner.

Memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Nancy.
