Mildred B. Garrett

Mildred B. Garrett, 87, passed away, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Wesley Acres Care Center in Des Moines surrounded by her family. She was born August 26, 1929 in Des Moines, the daughter of Mabel and Clifford Hanegan.

Mildred is survived by her son, Dan Garrett; daughter, Marcia Deer; granddaughter, Heather (Doug) DenAdel and their children Reegan and Asher; grandson , Thomas (Shelley) Garrett; granddaughter, Angie (Jason) Rosenbalm and their son, Wyatt; granddaughter, Amber (Darren) Battershell and their sons, Jake and Luke; brother-in-law, Larry Garrett and several nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Roy Garrett.

Cremation has occurred and private family burial will take place at Rising Sun Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Acres in loving memory of Mildred.
