Nancy Aarons

Nancy Evelyn (Hall) Aarons, age 73, passed away after a recent cancer diagnosis on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at her home at Valley View Village in Des Moines. Nancy is now reunited with her husband, LeRoy Aarons, who precedes her in death.

Nancy was born January 17, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Ben and Lois Hall. She was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area and graduated from North High School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a past member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Nancy was a lifelong member of Campfire and attended Camp Hantesa. She treasured her time spent there and loved the experiences and friendships she made.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Jane (Karyn) Hall-Dayle of St. Paul, MN, brother, Tom (Tootie) Hall of Altoona, IA, brother, Jim (Deb) Hall of Ashville, NC, sister-in-law, Dorothy Hall of Tucson, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob Hall.

According to Nancy’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that any contributions be directed to Camp Hantesa, 1450 Oriole Road, Boone, IA 50036.
