Betty Revita

Betty Jean Revita, 84, passed away June 1, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born August 27, 1932 in Des Moines. She married Gustavo Revita on June 18, 1961. Betty was a loyal and dedicated wife who devoted her unselfish and faithful love to her children while supporting her husband’s naval career. She was also Jehovah’s Witness who enjoyed spending time with her sisters and friends.

Betty is survived by her children, Gus (Kristen) Revita, Rod (Sandra) Revita, Mike (Patricia) Larpenter and Debbie (Tim) Nash; grandchildren, David, Jill (Kirk), Lucy, Lindsey (Luis), Candice (Adrian), Allie and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Alice, Dominik, Arianna, Veronika and Ava; and other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Abraham; and husband, Gustavo.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
