Donald Lehman Jr., 63, passed away Saturday morning, May 27, 2017, at VA Hospital Hospice. His final moments, here, were surrounded by his loving family.

Donny, was born on October 16, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa, where he spent his entire life. He married the love of his life, Patsy Lehman, with whom they built their loving home to raise their family of four children.

Donny served his country, as a member of the United States Army. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching NASCAR racing, and his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.

Besides his four children, Donald Lehman, Marcy Lehman (Jose), Jay Lehman, and Chantelle Lehman (Manuel), he will greatly be missed by his beloved wife, Patsy Lehman; 7 grandchildren; his mother, Martha Lehman, a brother, Bill Lehman (Sandy), two sisters-in-law, Nancy Lehman and Terri Earles (Rod); brother-in-law, Dan Matney; and 4 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lehman, Sr., and a brother, James Lehman.

Celebration of Donald’s Life will be held at 12:30p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter.
