Ronald Ralph Reynolds

Ronald Ralph Reynolds, age 85, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at HCI Care Services, Kavanagh House. Ron was born October 15, 1931 in Mitchellville, Iowa to Beulah (Freel) and Ralph Reynolds.

Ron worked at Iowa Power and Light for 25 years before retiring and then owned and operated Reynolds Appliance and Furniture. He enjoyed fishing, home remolding, but most of all his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gloria; brother, Keith (Jan) Reynolds; grandchildren, David Bedford, Tracy Vannoi, R.J. Reynolds Jr., Jason Eaton, and Ronny Dale Eaton; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his children, Christine M. Bedford, Ralph J. Reynolds, and Theresa L. Eaton; brothers, Norman and Donald Reynolds, and his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at a private residence, 415 East Hillside Avenue, Des Moines at 2pm on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
