Alice Newlin

Alice L. Newlin, 75, died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Altoona Nursing Home. Per her request, she donated her body to the University of Iowa. A memorial visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Newlin residence.
Alice was born September 14, 1932 to Jesse and Ilva Hall. She worked as a nurses aid for many years.
Alice is survived by her daughter-in-law, Anita Newlin; grandchildren, Laura (Josh) Edenburn, Bryan Newlin, and Sarah Newlin; great-grandchildren, Gabby and Morgan; many nieces; nephews; and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Newlin Jr.; former spouse, Robert Newlin Sr.; and five brothers and sisters.
Arrangements being handled by Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
