Larry,
Years ago my sister, Lucinda, and I worked in the Awana Program at Airport Baptist Church and Marilyn did the secretarial work for Sparks. I still remember her having to glue all the jewels in the crowns of the clubbers. Thankfully, they just pop in now days!
Sorry to read of Marilyn's death in the Des Moines paper. I remember when Melissa was born and her early years. Now, she's a mom herself.
Lucinda passed away this past April from cancer at the age of 50. I miss her every day. But I know that the Lord is faithful, He makes no mistakes and He gives strength for the day.
May you and Melissa and her family experience His loving arms holding you close at this time. How comforting to know Marilyn is with the Lord. What a reunion it will be someday.
